An Arts and Heritage angled School Outreach Program was organized together with the Catholic High School. This is the second time The Private Museum has paired with Catholic High School to coordinate outreach programs for the students, the previous being Old Campus Revisted: A Chua Ek Kay Collection of Catholic High School in 2012. 70 Secondary One to Three students were present for the tour and through sharing and presentation to their classmates, the outreach program effectively reached out to 980 Secondary One to Three students.

Students were given a tour of the Catholic High School collection before they proceeded to The Private Museum for a tour of the artist’s private art collection to link both exhibitions together. The tour aimed to educate the students about the late 1999 cultural medallion and alumni of Catholic High School, and his artistic practice.

The program also enlightened them about the local heritage of the former campus of Catholic High School on 51 Waterloo Street, where The Private Museum is currently located.

This Art program was held in conjunction with the exhibition Influences and Friendships: A Chua Ek Kay Estate Collection.
